Experimental study on the ozonation of transformer oil in wastewater enhanced by hydrocyclone and cavitation

Abstract The treatment of transformer oil wastewater in the accident pond with ozone has no secondary pollution to environment. cavitation technique was used enhance oxygenation process and hydrocyclone separator do pretreatment. After sewage enters hydrocyclone, separation efficiency reached up 60%, which reduces processing load subsequent device. Through 10min cycle a device, concentration imported reduced from 50mg/L below 5 mg/L, Class-I discharge standard industrial water. optimal operation parameters were studied by adjusting inlet pipe gap gas-liquid ratio cavitation.
